Kristen Bulfer joined the Waukesha State Bank mortgage team in March of 2017 as a mortgage consultant. She learned quickly and leveraged her strengths, which earned her the Rising Star award at the 2019 Wisconsin Mortgage Bankers Association’s Best in Business ceremony. In 2023, Kristen’s continued growth and exceptional performance in the mortgage industry earned her the WMBA’s Mortgage Banker of the Year for Milwaukee award. Kristen was promoted to mortgage consultant - team lead in 2024, and in addition to originating mortgage loans, she is also responsible for mentoring and coaching assigned mortgage consultants in all facets of mortgage banking.

Kristen holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and loves helping people achieve their home ownership goals by navigating the complex and ever-changing mortgage landscape. She and her family currently reside in Pewaukee, and she primarily serves the Menomonee Falls location.
